Direct-to-Film (DTF) transfers are full-color heat-applied transfers for any color garment. No weeding needed and DTF transfers can be applied to cotton, cotton/poly blends, and even 100% polyester. Simply press and go! All you need is a heat press! DTF Transfer Application Instructions
*All sequin, glitter, and embroidery designs are DTF prints and will be smooth to the touch.
Preheat the garment for 15 seconds to remove excess moisture. Let the garment cool before adding the transfer.
- Place the transfer on the shirt white side down, image facing up.
- Press at 315F for 12 seconds under very firm pressure.(You may need to adjust based on your heat press.
- Remove the garment from the press and let it stand until it is cool enough to peel.
- 5. Peel slowly to make sure the design is adhered well.
- Cover the image with parchment paper and press again for 15 seconds. You can use a Teflon sheet, butcher paper.. ***Please note: If the image does not come off completely, repress with the image in place, let it cool.
- Sometimes softer style shirts like Bella Canvas require a little more pressure.
Color matching may not always be exact, as DTF prints are printed in the CYMK format and most designs are not created with this color format.
